Timeless Orange Vibes
In the last century, our house was the residence of the renowned wholesaler in tobacco and fine wines Gust van Dijk. The shop/residence, which was built at the end of the 1930s in the style of the Amsterdam School, now houses an atmospheric Bed and Breakfast. One of the rooms in Bed and Breakfast Tilburg Gust van Dijk is called Orange Submarine. The room is loosely inspired by The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine, surprising, uncomplicated, and heartwarming. It is a lovely bright place where travelers quickly feel at home. We think that’s because of the combination of style, hospitality, and comfort.
Deluxe Room for 1 or 2 Guests
The name Orange Submarine draws inspiration from a broad decorative band of orange that encircles the room like a cocoon. This Bed and Breakfast Tilburg guest-room is situated on the second floor. It has an orange ribbon painted all around it, as a wrapped gift package. Subsequently, it offers its guests an abundance of natural light and an immersion in soothing, glowing shades of orange.
From the unique Panorama Shower, which has been specially created for this room, you will look at the world with different eyes! Besides sleeping in comfort on the quality box spring bed, there is a delightful south-facing balcony with a sunshade and seating. Whilst enjoying the lovely view of the gardens of Tilburg, you feel at home and can unwind.
The Open-Plan bathroom boasts a wonderful Panorama shower, that was designed and handmade especially for Orange Submarine. Have you ever dreamt of having a “Beam me up Scotty” shower?
Timeless Orange Submarine is to enjoy light and space. Ideal, for snuggling, snoozing and lounging. Alternatively well suited to concentrating on preparations for work next day. Kick back and watch the time fly by. Orange Submarine is intimate and cosy. It boasts a luxurious Open-Plan bathroom with a panorama rain shower. The room is most suited to couples and solo travelers.

Breakfast
Breakfast:
Breakfast is included in the price. We serve a freshly prepared, healthy and tasty breakfast in the salon, the studio or on the garden terrace (weather permitting). We make our own jams, get oven-fresh rolls from the Baker and squeeze juice from fresh oranges.
Breakfast will be served at a pre-agreed time between 6:45 am – 10:30 am. If you have any special requests outside of these times, please let us know so we can provide alternate arrangements.
Early Breakfast
If you like an early breakfast, before 7:30 am, please inform us a day in advance.
Allergies
Please inform us in advance of any allergies or dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate them.
