The Guest
rooms of Bed and Breakfast Tilburg “Gust van
Dijk”
Our two guest
rooms – which have been designed by artists - are situated on the second floor of
Gust van Dijk’s former shop and home, dated 1937. The rooms offer you all the comfort you need for
a pleasant overnight stay in Tilburg. Both rooms are accommodated with a uniquely designed private
bathroom and separate toilet.
Scroll over the pictures for an impression of our guest rooms “Orange
Submarine” and “City Park Greens”. The picture in the middle gives a
first glance at the salon of
B&B Tilburg Gust van Dijk.
At B&B Tilburg, everything is aimed at giving you a pleasant stay After
taking a shower or a bath you can put on a nice, soft bathrobe and comfortably read a book on the
box spring bed or in one of the garden chairs on the sunny balcony (Did you know that Tilburg has
the most annual hours of sun in The Netherlands?). The beautiful wooden floors, the characteristic
features of the architectural style of the 1930s and the craftsmanship of “Walliaanse” carpenters
and tilers are truly a joy to watch.
Contemporary art
Is spread all over the house. Art gives ample opportunities for discussion, reflection and exchange
of views with the artists owners of this Bed and Breakfast. B&B Tilburg Gust van Dijk has
already been featured on international television to set an example how contemporary art and design
merges into a special ambiance.
The salon on the first floor is a cosy meeting place, where you can watch
television or a DVD on a big flat screen TV. There is a bookcase full of reference works,
biographies and exhibition catalogues for you to look into. The salon also has a pantry with
coffee, tea making facilities and some freshly baked biscuits for our guests. Throughout the whole
house, you have access to a secured WiFi-network.
